Drawdio – Turn Drawings Into Sound
By Thomas Smith
Source : Drawdio

Drawdio is an unusual invention, it turns almost anything into a Theremin. Utilizing a simple synthesizer and speaker that can be attached to anything, the unique invention connects people to their environment and encourages them to use their sense of touch to hear the invisible electrical connections around us all. Attach Drawdio to a pencil and the drawing becomes an electrical circuit. Touch one end of the drawing with one hand and as you draw the pitch of the sound changes. Drawdio can be connected to anything as long as the object conducts some electricity, meaning it should probably contain water or metal.
